“Charming property with delightful rooms. Victorian decor and old world charm. Staff was friendly. No elevator but stairs to second floor were manageable. Beautiful view from 3 sides in the Garden room. Location was convenient to walk to the falls. Bright dining room. Had an excellent dinner and continental breakfast. Would definitely stay here again.”

“Elevator broken so only one was operable even while a large conference was in attendance. Two rings of shower curtain broken off. Excellent proximity to waterfront & downtown.”

“Chicken was good. The staff was friendly. The room was basically clean. Around 10:30 p.m. The noise around our room became excessive. It was impossible to call the front desk as the phone did not work. We had to use our cell phone and call through the 800 number. Finally, around 12:30 it quieted down. The next morning desperately needing coffee. After a night of little sleep we found the coffee maker did not work. Not a good stay”

“The room had a tub that was disgusting. Instead of resolving the staff commented the housekeeping was gone for the day and it was probably the "pipes". Service - we were 9 minutes early for dinner on the Castle and they refused to seat us so we stood there until 6:30. There were plenty of empty tables! Our server was gone most of the meal and I had to get another server to find her. Front desk personnel were dismissive and rude. Not a good overall experience and I would no lat recommend this...

“Rating: 2.5–3 stars This property sits in an absolutely beautiful location with stunning views of the lake and the hills to the west. The sunsets are truly incredible, and the overall atmosphere is quiet and peaceful. The front yard has a lot of charm and potential, though the grass was noticeably overgrown during my stay. The experience itself was unusual. I was greeted briefly by someone who handed me the key, but after that I didn’t see a single staff member, and there’s no real reception...

“Facility appears outdated. There are only three equipment in a tiny exercise room with two not working, plus a TV without TV remote. Only thing the front desk could say was " I will let the manager know".”

“This was our first stay at a bed and breakfast and it was amazing. The staff was really friendly. The home was amazing. Close to everything you wanna do and the breakfast was delicious i would recommend staying here to everyone who is interested in going to a bed and breakfast in the area.”

“It is an ancient house with few rooms. The foyer is incredible! The living room with the piano super. And the tea room so cute. Then silence is the King of this area.”

“The resort was situated directly on the lake, beautiful views! The owner/staff was incredibly accommodating. Breakfast served daily was prepared on the premises, individually for each person. Incredible meals! B&B located close to vineyards, restaurants, shops. Our kitchen, living space, bedroom and bath was quite spacious! Room was a bit noisy from neighbors but that is the nature of a bed and breakfast being a large home. The owner did offer to move us as well.”
